The Angola Community Theatre Presents The Old Lady Shows Her Medals
A.C.T. opens its season with a musical about Mrs Dewey a charlady in England during World War I who fakes a son to impress friends. Florence Wilson stars as Mrs Dowey and Steve Harris plays Private Dowey in a Tri-State College auditorium production running November 17 18 19 at 815 pm with student tickets 75 cents.

Co Ed Of The Week Betty Pfaff From West Haven Conn
Betty Pfaff an eighteen year old freshman from West Haven Connecticut is this week’s co ed. She lives on Pleasant Street in Angola and enjoys cheerleading and Booster Club work. She chose Tri State for its small campus and says men at Tri State are nice and helpful while the town of Angola does not offer adequate social life.

Three Elected To All-Conference Athletic Teams
Three Tri-State athletes earn all conference honors in the Indiana Mid- Central Conference. Paul Wiese from Cleveland Ohio is a senior electrical engineering student and Sigma Phi Delta president with a 27 4 tennis record and three straight years on the all conference squad. Dennis Black of Piqua Ohio has three consecutive years as undefeated number two in tennis and is a civil department senior. Chuck Borneman of Elkhart Indiana becomes the Trojans first soccer all conference pick as center half scoring twice in conference play. he is a junior in general business and a member of Alpha Sigma Phi.

Tri-State College reports 95 students in its cooperative education program this fall with over 200 co op jobs listed by Leo Kuhn. Employers include General Motors Eaton Yale US Steel Cummins and Ford. Ken roller Bearing leads participation with four students on site. The program blends eight quarters of work with three quarters of study, offering early career head starts and partial tuition financing.
