Display Features Motor Freight Terminal Model
A detailed scale model of a Motor Freight Terminal is shown in the basement of the Business Administration Building. Built in 1960 by Tri-State Transportation faculty and students, it was financed by the Flint Motor Carriers Association and donated to the college in 1965 to support transportation classes. Prof. Hilton can arrange viewings.

Tri State Faculty To Lead Workshop For High School Teachers
Tri State College hosts a Saturday workshop at John G Best Hall for junior and senior high students and teachers and Science Fair coordinators. Dr W W Hill leads sessions with engineers and scientists covering biology chemistry physics and engineering planning, judging criteria, and local fair preparation. The 1968 Regional Science Fair for DeKalb LaGrange Noble and Steuben counties will take place on campus in early April.

Bridge Club in Angola Welcomes Players at City Hall
An ACBL sanctioned bridge club in Angola meets twice weekly in City Hall under Mrs. Howard Arnold. Sessions run Tuesday at 1 00 PM and Wednesday at 7 30 PM, about three hours, with duplicated bridge and score comparisons. Admission is $1 and 50 cents for students.

Barbara Diggins 21 of VaGrange Indiana is named Co Ed of the Week by Tri-State. She transfers from Indiana University after 214 years and plans a finance career as a stock analyst. Barb is a five member basketball cheerleader and lists horses dogs and water sports among her interests.

Tri-State College Hosts Fifth Annual Motor Fleet Training Course
Tri-State College and its Division of Extended Services partner with the School of Business Administration to run the national Motor Fleet Supervisor Training course. Directed by Ralph Thomas of Penn State and supported by Tri-State faculty, the five day program begins the week of November 13 in the Perry T. Ford Memorial Library. Participants from six states including Massachusetts will gain cost reducing maintenance insights for commercial vehicles.

Tri-State Debaters Win Two at Maple Leaf Invitational
In Goshen College last Saturday Tri-State’s debate team posted two wins, finishing with a two-win, four-loss record and tying with several schools for ranking. Malone College suffered the only Tri-State loss. Michigan Anderson and Dubuque also notched five wins, one loss. University of Michigan earned the trophy on points. Coaches praised members Mike Bates Greg Donnellon Ralph Dvorak Jim Gibson Roger Haymond and Mrs Orlosky for their hard work and talent.
