High School Art Exhibit Draws Large Local Attendance
Nearly 500 visitors viewed Tri-State College’s public service exhibit "High School Art-1967" over the weekend. Pupils from DeKalb La Grange Noble and Steuben Counties displayed representative works from public and parochial high schools and junior high schools. The noncompetitive show, sponsored by Tri-State College, aims to recognize art teachers and students, with plans for an annual event and no awards or judging.

Dr John J McKetta alumnus and Tri-State College board member will deliver the 83rd commencement address on Saturday June 3. He will receive the Doctor of Engineering as an honorary degree during graduation. McKetta, dean of UT Austin College of Engineering, has chaired petroleum chemistry projects in the Middle East and authored 154 publications.
