Happenings To Provide Music For Spring Concert
The Student Senate announced The Happenings will perform for the Spring concert with Larry Kennedy of WOWO Fort Wayne as Master of Ceremonies. The group known for My Mammy and Music Music Music has appeared on Tonight Smothers Brothers Merv Griffin and Mike Douglas and played at major campuses and venues across the country. They tour the East Coast show hop and will visit South America in June.

Debaters win two at Tulip Tour on Ball State campus
Tri-State College debaters Terry Brammall Jim Darcy Greg Donnellon and Rich Greenfield won two trophies at the Tulip Tour tournament held at Ball State University on Saturday April 26 earning third place and best affirmative team honors. Indiana University South Bend claimed first and best negative team, Valparaiso took second.

Honorary degrees awarded at Tri-State College commencement
Tri State College will bestow two honorary Doctor of Letters and Doctor of Laws degrees at its June 7 commencement. Mrs. Mark Honeywell of Wabash and Ross Martin of Elkhart receive the honors for distinguished business and industry work and philanthropy. A. P. Fontaine of Detroit will also receive a Doctor of Laws as commencement speaker.

Students planning summer or fall registration must use distinct forms. Summer uses brown stripe Sum mer cards and fall uses pink striped cards. Students bear responsibility for correct course numbers and potential time conflicts. Advisors approve schedules and sign forms. Registrar’s office collects cards daily for processing.
