Vogues to perform at Tri-State Winter Wonderland weekend
The Vogues, a Turtle Creek quartet, headline a Winter Wonderland Weekend at Tri-State College. They perform Saturday February 22 at 8 p.m. in Angola High School Gym, open to the public with $2.50 tickets. Tri-State students admitted with ID. The event includes a Friday dance and snow activities.

Tri State College bids open for new Physical Education Building
Tri State College invites bids for a reinforced concrete Physical Education Building with brick exterior on West Park Avenue. About 85,000 square feet over three levels will include a 45 by 75 foot swimming pool, indoor track around a basketball court, gymnasium, classrooms, offices, and locker facilities. Groundbreaking is planned for spring with occupancy targeted for fall 1970. federal grant of 615 226 supports the project plus a 40000 donation from Elliot L. Ludvigsen.

Oceanography course offered in Spring Quarter
A new Oceanography course will be taught by Peter Hippensteel in Spring Quarter. Bio. 304 provides four hours per week with three lectures and a two hour lab. It covers physical chemical geological and biological oceanography concepts and requires Math 114 and Physics 105 or 115. It qualifies as a technology elective for engineers and a science elective for business students.

Tri State Debaters Struggle at Ball State Tournament
Tri State sent both sides to Ball State University on February 1 for the Indiana state junior varsity championship, posting one win in eight debates. The 6 9 year shows more losses than wins as Terry Brammall and Greg Donnellon led the affirmative with only one victory in four debates.
