English mining expert guided through Park district by Hugh McQuaid
Hugh McQuaid piloted an English mining expert through the Park district this week. A Temple of the Patriarchal Circle formed last spring by Capt. Wallace now has twenty five members with more applications to act on at the next meeting. The fraternal military order wore uniforms received last week consisting of blouse cap and sword. They are described as very handsome. May Murray secured a school in the Whaley district. Ella Cooney of Helena plans to visit the valley next week at Miss Mamie Whaley’s invitation. Mrs. Dr. Belcher is on the sick list and Lane Kleine has been among the invalids. People should pay printers promptly to support the press and keep public prosperity.

Helena Lady Injured When Coach Team Trips
Miss Emily Bach, a Helena social figure, rode in a private conveyance from Utica to Cottonwood when horses ran away. The driver jumped out, the team struck a wire fence after about two miles, she was thrown clear and left insensible for over an hour. Injuries were not serious and she is recovering.
