Report of a large strike at the Overland mine near Helena confirms Frank Elser and T. Stab have sunk to 300 feet and found a rich body of free milling gold ore fifty feet wide. Ore values from seven to fifty dollars per ton, with two cars shipping daily and more workers needed. They believe the true lime and granite contact lies about 350 feet down.
