The London Telegraph reports a bishop faced a porter’s whisper about a man in the doorway. The porter identifies the visitor as the famous colored prizefighter known as the Coffee Cooler, prompting the bishop to consider a handshake if desired.
Instructions describe placing cotton between nail and flesh to treat an ingrowing nail. A cotton roll with lead nitrate fills the nail groove, covered by bandages, renewed daily until the edge becomes visible and the nitrate discontinued. Anna Uffel claims one fourth share of Hell Abraham and Washington quartz lode mining claims in Heaver Creek district Breadwater county Montana. She seeks 95000 plus publishing costs for representation work done in 1900 with first publication January 25. Co owner Charles Vollmer is notified to pay or forfeiture of rights and interest will result.
In the Ninth Judicial District of Montana Browswater County the administratrix of the estate of Ansiem Parker seeks an order to sell portions of the real estate. The court orders interested parties to appear February 2 to show cause why the sale should not be granted and directs publication for four weeks. Judge Fore Armstrofg. Publication date January 9.
Dodge's Quick Kure promises to cure a cold in 24 hours for La Grippe colds and headaches. Matthew's Pharmacy advertises the product and offers refunds if no improvement. Also promotes Dodge's Dyspepsia Tablets as a guaranteed cure and invites inquiries for a fish business manager at Warm Spring Creek, Toston Montana.
Shiloh's Cough and Consumption Care touted as miracle cure for croup with immediate relief in severe cases. Advertises prices 25 eds 50 cts and £1 at Matthews Pharmacy, claim targeted at mothers in distress.
