Mission week opens at Townsend Hall with Rev E Hopper
The Rev E Hopper Paulist mission opens at Tierney's hall Townsend on Sunday September 9 with high mass at 10 30 am sung by the town and valley choirs followed by Veni Creator and the mission sermon. Evening devotions at 7 1 pm include sacred music rosary sermon and benediction. A sale of missionary goods at cost price will be held at the hall entrance. The Paulists are known across the northwest for their missions and welcome non Catholics to hear the sermons.
