Stevenson stock and fixtures were sold at public auction for 36026 to Crosby Brothers of Topeka. Bidders from New York and Topeka competed, led by RH Day and G M Shelly. final price reached 36000 before Crosby Brothers were declared the buyers. The stock appraised near 64805 with fixtures 3008, total value about 62000. Crosby Brothers will move into the Stevenson building.
