Michigan capitalists form stock company to mine Huachuca claims

Prominent Michigan capitalists led by HC Young W A Bateman and Cop Banuel Mitchell have formed a stock company and secured an option on Monte ome and Copper canyons claims in the Huachuca district. JG Pritchard of Blebee aided the deal. About 30,000 shares were sold at 10 each among leaders in Merquete and Houghton counties. Work is to begin at once.

At about 4 pm Joe Neltherland a Copper Queen Company carpenter was killed at the 500 foot level of the Spray shaft when the cage struck him as he watched for the cage. He died on the operating table after being brought to hospital.
