Chief Brycin reported a violent stabbing in a Mexican residence area. A man named Ghirorime Cullee was found wounded and unable to speak. A bloody shirt and a large stone covered in blood were found nearby as investigators search for the attacker.
In superior court today Mudge A McAllister countered Gia in the case of Jas Hamilton charged with violating the prohibition act. Rev E W Simonson will hold services Sunday evening at 7:20.
A letter accepting the duty to deliver the Flag Day oration at the Elks Flag Day celebration was received by the entertainment committee from former County Attorney W. G. Gilmore. The program, set for Sunday evening June 15 at the Elks home, will feature Gilmore and include additional items to be announced. Refreshments will follow on the main floor.
A joint commission from the federal reclamation bureau and the House appropriation committee arrived in Phoenix after touring Elephant Butte New Mexico. They traveled via Granite Reef to Roosevelt Dam with luncheon at the San Marcos and plan to visit 26 projects, costing about 113000.00 in the western zone.
