Tax Rolls Now In Board's Hands
Assessor Howe delivered the tax roll to the county board of equalization today. The rolls cover about 6000 assessments totaling 18 836 734 81 dollars with producing mine parts at 4 759 497 27 dollars. The board meets to adjust raises but major changes are unlikely as the year end tax rate should stay similar despite lower totals. Engineer Sellen of the United States reclamation service tested the Southern Pacific bridge across the Colorado river at Yuma and found no damage from recent high waters.
