Clifton Springville Highway Project Approved in New Mexico

The Secretary of Agriculture approved the Clifton Springville Highway Project. Construction is expected to start soon with costs estimated between 200,000 and 400,000 dollars, shared equally by Greenlee County and the federal government. Funding will come from National Forest receipts under the Federal Aid Road Act. Future plans include extending the route from Springerville toward Apache County and connecting to the O rran to Ocean Highway once Greenlee completes its portion.
