Two men described as the Hillsboro bank robbers were involved in the hold up last Wednesday. The larger man is tall about six feet, heavy set, sandy mustache, gray complexion, yellow duck coat, vest and old overcoat. The smaller man stands about five ten, light beard, dark complexion, black hat, corduroy coat and vest, gray pants. Douglas deputy sheriff Al Stricklin said descriptions match no local suspects. Joe Alvord laments unfair press while denying any role in the crime.
