Cochise County bond plan backed by Taxpayers Association
The Cochise Taxpayers Association backs a bond issue under House Bill 175 to build a permanent county road network. The plan aims to link the New Mexico line near Rodeo through Douglas, Bisbee, Tombstone, St. David, and Benson to the county line with paving between Douglas and Bisbee. It promises access to a general county road fund of at least 125000 dollars yearly for laterals and extensions, to be approved by election or Highway Commission action.
