Fire injures teen in basement heater blast near Deep River
Audrey Schuldt, 17, of near Deep River, was badly burned when a gas heater exploded in a basement before a shower. The blast buckled the kitchen floor and damaged the entire building. In a separate incident, Clifford Krambeer of Britt was struck by lightning near Joice while fastening a steel gate and recovered by the time he reached town.
