Iowa Memorial Union campaign seeks $1 million
Iowa graduates and former students organize a nationwide drive from November 22 to 29 to fund a $1,000,000 Memorial Union at the University of Iowa. The planned students’ union will honor soldiers of World War I, the Spanish American War, and the Civil War with reading rooms, dining halls, and meeting spaces, becoming a social center and focal point for university life.
