A Chevrolet stolen from Albert Lea was found east of Titonka on Woden road Monday morning after area residents reported a sighting. Sheriff Peck Hansen coordinated with Garner authorities and county treasurer to contact the car owner, Severson of Albert Lea. The theft occurred after a Sunday church visit. Iowa officials located the vehicle near the county line west of Woden. Questions remain about who drove the car and their motive.
Tom Eliefson married Myr Tom Clitson, who lives on the George Larson farm near Doan church, Thursday afternoon a week ago to Miss Katherine Hauenstein of Algona. They will reside just west of Doan church.

The Lutheran Church notes two meetings last Sunday with Viola Riko leading and three present. The Ladies Aid met in the church basement Wednesday afternoon. A social is planned Friday evening in the church basement for the new confirmation class. The Hawkeye Federation Luther League will meet in Mason City next Sunday with Rev O Mal. Good Hope Luther League will attend. Bus riders should notify by Thursday evening. Sunday School children invited to singing school in the church basement Thursday afternoon at 4 15. German service next Sunday at 8 00 a.m. Sunday School at 9 50 a.m.

Bills were read and approved with warrants authorized. List includes labor payments to Rasmus Hangga M and A Peters Albert Young and W H Rickless, street lights, and Titanics Fire Dept labor. Meeting adjourned.
