Stolen Minnesota Car Found Near Woden Road

A Chevrolet stolen from Albert Lea was found east of Titonka on Woden road Monday morning after area residents reported a sighting. Sheriff Peck Hansen coordinated with Garner authorities and county treasurer to contact the car owner, Severson of Albert Lea. The theft occurred after a Sunday church visit. Iowa officials located the vehicle near the county line west of Woden. Questions remain about who drove the car and their motive.

Doan Church Area Couple Wed at Farm Hosts

The regular monthly town council meeting was held at the Ti tonka Savings bank at sleven o'clock p m. Present were Mayor Wolfe and councilmen Pannhuk Bonacker Calliss and Sartor. Bills were read and approved with warrants authorized. List includes labor payments to Rasmus Hangga M and A Peters Albert Young and W H Rickless, street lights, and Titanics Fire Dept labor. Meeting adjourned.
