Local Shower Celebrates Clarence Cooper Nuptials
Clarence Cooper and Mrs. Cooper hosted a post nuptial shower at their Forest City home with over two hundred guests from Sexton Bricelyn and Carroll. The West Prairie Lutheran congregation organized the event with a basket dinner and afternoon lunch. Guest lists include Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hansen and families, John Seeman, J. Bolenus and families, the Amesbury families from Wealey, and Elizabeth Amesbury of Carroll. Mrs. Grace Green, now Mrs. C. V. Pendergast, was honored. she teaches district No. 7 in German township. Various clubs met, with high scores and travel prizes noted, as community members engaged in meals, games, and post-nuptial festivities.
