Local Happenings and Births in Algona Community
Community notes record a baby boy born at Kossuth hospital Algona to Mrs Lily Brabee RH and family. Attendees include Mrs Urban and relatives. Several local residents, including Beatrice Hildman and Mrs C H Keeper, visit relatives and assist with household duties. The Catholic Missionary group met with hostesses Mrs George Hanig and Mrs Matt Erdman. Raymond Carlson arrived home from Pacific service after 30 months. A church gift of 5000 dollars from Peter Seaberg heirs supported the Congregational church. Various visits, weddings, and family moves are noted, along with church activities and a weekend of sickness in Don Hinnard’s group.
