Des Moines nurse joins medical staff and local veterans return
Ray Ladendorf, a surgical nurse at the M E hospital in Des Moines, is due to arrive soon. Will Hawcott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hawcott, has returned from France after 110 days at the front with two rest days. A number of local residents and visitors, including Mrs. Kraft of Sioux City and Grace Smith, celebrate birthdays and socialize across Burt, Elmore, Badger, and nearby farms.
