Henry Meyer 74 dies after sudden illness in Titonka
Henry Meyer aged 74 died suddenly after dropping a letter in a street box while visiting relatives in Algona. A lifelong community figure, he and his family moved from a German township farm to Titonka in 1919 where he built an insurance business and served on the town council and bank board. He was active in Ramsey Reformed Church and left behind wife Susie and children Anna and Ben. Funeral services were held at his home and the church with Rev. Calvin Schnucker officiating.

Funeral in crowded church for Mr Meyer at Titonka church
Burial followed in the church cemetery beside his wits as a crowded service honored Mr Meyer. Pallbearers included Weert Asche William Boykan George Breen Hale Boekelman Seyer Pannkuk and George Johnson. Survived by two children Anna and Ben two grandchildren Dor othy and Marjorie and many brothers and sisters with numerous distant relatives attending the funeral from several towns.
