Titonka Vote On New Electric Franchise Planned
The Titonka community plans another vote on the Interstate Power Co electric franchise on September 5 after reconciliation between investors and local businessmen. The 15 year franchise with a 5 year cancellation clause enjoys broad support and could bring a new white way before the sow starts if approved, with assurances from Interstate that funds and logistics align for early modernization. Local reflections note community strength rests on roots and cooperation as school preparations begin and Bancroft hosts the Junior Legion State baseball tournament.
