Drowning Fatality Near Crooked River Coast
A 32 year old man Richardson drowned while bathing near Crooked River. He was not a strong swimmer and disappeared about 20 yards from the boat after entering the water. His body was recovered after efforts by D N McDonald and others. An inquest was held the following evening and burial occurred at Melfort on Tuesday.
