Dr. Nettie C. Chipman, longtime Savanna physician since 1934, departs this week for Peoria Illinois to become medical director at Peoria Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium and oversee clinics at St. Francis Hospital. A Savanna native, she previously practiced in West Virginia California Thomson and held a wartime post at Naperville Sanitarium.

Miss Floy Sweet 65 of Dixon died Wednesday September 16 funeral services were held Friday at 1 30 p m in Preston Funeral Home Rev Floyd L Blowfield Methodist church officiated burial in Oakwood Cemetery She was born May 1 1877 in Thomson daughter of Mr and Mrs George Sweet She survived by nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters including the late Mrs Lyman Booth She was a Methodist member.
