Ralph Blake dies in Sterling after illness
Ralph Sheldon Blake aged 69 of Green Island and Rock Falls died at Sterling public hospital after a stroke followed by pneumonia. He served briefly as Rotary president in 1943 and was a stock buyer and longtime farmer. Survived by son Dwain Blake and four grandchildren with burial in Savanna cemetery.
