Death of Mrs Carl Bell Leaves Community Grieving

Mrs Carl Bell died Saturday evening at home after a long illness. Born in Iceland on June 2 1874 she lived in Germany and then moved to America, settling in Iowa and Thomson. She leaves 11 children eight daughters and three sons, plus grandchildren and siblings, with deep family and community ties noted for her faith and devotion.

Annual Election and Upcoming Epworth League Events

Cars may be arranged. volunteers urged. Alfred Smith and C. C. Griswold installed two radios, while K P lodge members attended Savannah hall dedication with broad attendance.

Parents and Teachers group set limits on meetings

The Willing Workers class at Christ Church School formed a new officer slate led by Herbert Stores as president and Mary Green as associate president. Members planned extra meetings for children to attend while regular first Thursday sessions remain for parents and teachers only. The group, with color scheme orange and black, celebrated with Bible-charade prizes and refreshments concluding with music and a benediction.
