Judge Frank T. Sheean aged 57 of Galena, a Jo Daviess county bar leader and longtime Democratic figure, died after weeks of illness. Funeral high mass conducted by Father J. T. Donahoe at St. Michael's Church Galena, with burial in St. Michael cemetery. He served as Jo Daviess state's attorney 1908-1916 and 1932, became judge of the 115th circuit in 1933.
