Grade News From Local High School Games and Schedule

The boys played the high school on Tuesday with 10 to 4 in favor of the high school, and the second game ended in a 5 to 5 tie. Report cards were handed out Wednesday. Teachers are away Thursday and Friday so there will be no school. The fifth grade studies equations and finds it interesting.

Railroad mileage realigned with East Clinton Union Grove sections

The intervening stretch of the C N W railroad has been divided and added to East Clinton and Union Grove. Herman Timmons, in charge of that mileage since 1919, has been transferred to a section at Austin Indiana. Mrs Timmons will join him there after November 1.

Plan to Marry in San Diego

Engagement announced between Miss Henrietta Sikkema of Savanna and Delbert Gaar of Thomson. Sikkema arrived in San Diego on September 30 and they plan to wed at First Lutheran Church with Rev Weseller officiating. Wedding dinner to follow at the home of Mrs Bek where she resides.
