Senneff Submits Low Bid on Thomson Causeway Road
Irvin R. Senneff of Mount Carroll submitted the apparent low bid of 3105 dollars for 1350 tons of rock to surface a new 3400 foot road at the Thomson Causeway Public Use Area. The rock will be spread by a Corps crew as recreation facilities are expanded along the new road with rest rooms picnics and early culverts for future development.

Funeral services were held this afternoon in The Fay Seeser funeral home Fulton for Forrest R Letcher 61 of Fulton who died suddenly early Tuesday in his home He was born January 7 1905 in Estick Township Whiteside County He married Pearl Morrow Vogel May 10 1928 She died in 1957 He had worked as an operating engineer at Clinton Engineering Co Clinton for over 35 years He was a member of Fulton Presbyterian Church He is survived by one daughter five sons three sisters and three brothers
