Dense fog slows traffic across the Illinois valley
Dense fog blanketed the region from the Mississippi valley eastward delaying highway traffic Sunday night and Monday morning. Minor accidents occurred, two fatalities occurred in a Clinton DeWitt Iowa crash blamed on fog, and seven Illinois deaths were linked to dense fog.
