Graduation events marked the Thomson school year end. Forty-two eighth graders received diplomas at the Thomson school gym Friday night. York Comet High School held baccalaureate for 20 seniors with Rev. Jack Van Heest delivering the sermon. Monday featured commencement for the class with Dale D. Welch as speaker. Services Held Monday For Chas Remrey Jr
Funeral services for Charles Remrey Jr., 58, who died Friday at his home, were held Monday at Thomson Methodist Church with a 1 45 p m relative prayer. The Rev Wilbur Nicholson officiated and burial followed in Fulton cemetery. Survivors include his widow six sons and seven daughters thirty grandchildren and many siblings. He was born February 6 1904 in Clinton Iowa and lived in Fulton before moving to Thomson eight years ago.

The Small Frys meet Shannon on Thursday June 7 at home. coaches are Junior St Ores and Gilpin Stagg. Tag day is Saturday June 2 to raise funds for equipment.
