Decoration Day Program Sets Sunday Observances
A Decoration Day program will be held with services on Sunday May guth instead of Monday. A good program and a fine talk are planned, followed by visits to York cemeteries. The band is expected to make its first appearance of the year. School buses will transport attendees to the cemeteries and those with extra seats should help others. A full program will appear next week.

The local Shipping Association led by manager Robert Groharing shipped 77 hogs to Chicago on Monday with shippers including Ocens x Shoemaker J J Caroll John Neary Stark Pratt Rush Carroll Frank Smith Durkee Jartman Durkee. The Argo Condensary reports 6728 pounds of milk received on Wednesday, a yearly high beating 2000 quarts or more than any retired day to date.

Senior Class Play Delights York Community High School
The senior class presented Nothing But the Truth to a jam packed house with many turned away. An orchestra of local musicians provided music between acts followed by Girls Glee Club and solo performances. The cast earned praise with special mention for Fred Hook in the lead role and credit to directors Mr and Mrs J M Chesnutt. Door receipts totaled 108.60.
