Clyde E. Schamel 63 of Mt Carroll died at 12 20 a m April 23 at Urbana where he visited a heart specialist. His body returned to Mt Carroll for Christian funeral home services led by Rev William N Lyons. Burial followed at Oak Hill cemetery. Born March 28 1884 he married Grace Morgan in May 1905 and worked 24 years as a fraternity chef at the University of Illinois.
