The will of Dr Mary Sagner was admitted to probate last Saturday in the County Clerk's office. A 2000 fund is left to Anna Lohmeier to hold in trust for Julius Sagner. $100 is left to several churches and libraries. Remainder divided between Ida M Woolley, Ida Weber, and Anna Lohmeier. Witnesses F J Stransky and Marie Marth. Minnie Weber Miller named executrix.

Sunday dinner at the Vernon Rawlins home celebrated the postmaster's birthday. Guests included Mr and Mrs I L Rawlins, Herbert Rawlins age 61, and Mr and Mrs Kyle Rawlins. The postmaster reportedly enjoyed the feast and showed youthful spirit.

The AA sponsored triple bill featured Fulton versus Thomson in a close tie, with Fulton edging in overtime 4 to 2 after a near balance throughout. Lanark dominated the local grade school game as the smaller locals fought hard. Postgame, Fulton Old Timers hosted a steak supper at the Wilt Hotel with Jaranty in attendance and Joe Foltz noted for a strong 500-yard night. A return with the Antibes is set for Saturday in Fulton.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Moritz of Morrison a daughter named Vernabell on Sunday March 16. The newborn and her older sisters Doris and Mary Jane are staying with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Mortz in Thomson.

Mrs. George Bower and her daughter Valta spent a month visiting relatives in Omaha Grand Island Nebraska and Rock Creek Kansas. They returned home Saturday evening. In Rock Creek she visited her brother Chase Brown who had been in ill health.
