Mr and Mrs Herbert L Rawlins plan a 45 day western trip starting July 6 over Burlington and Pacific lines covering over 5000 miles. They will visit Thomson friends from Savanna to Yellowstone Spokane Pullman Coeur d Alene Mabton Sunnyside Granger Seattle Vancouver Portland San Francisco Ripon Los Angeles Denver Fort Collins Julesburg Kimball Omaha and Galesburg with many family and old acquaintances. Kadel Players Shine In Across the Street Chautauqua
The Kadel Players led by Carlton Kadel presented Across the Street as the Thomson Chautauqua finale. The troupe, with one member absent, previously staged the same play on the Rocky Mountain Five Circuit last summer.
