Arc Bernard Groharing, son of Mr and Mrs Bruce Groharing, will graduate June 1 from the Squadron School at Sheppard Air Force Base Texas and after a 15 day leave be assigned to the 753 Aircraft Control and Warning Squadron in Sault Ste Marie Michigan. The remainder of the grade school yearbooks have arrived and may be picked up at the grade school office. A limited number are for sale at 175 per yearbook on a first come first served basis. The grade school office will be open every Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon during the summer.

York Voters To Go To Polls On Monday
York Township voters will go to the polls Monday June 6 1960 at the Village Hall Thomson from 6 am to 6 pm to decide on a 75000 bond issue for road and bridge work and to elect a nine year member of the State Supreme Court in a judicial election. The bond funds would cover road resurfacing about eighteen miles and a new motor patrol, with repairs on the present machine costing an estimated 4000 redirected toward a new unit.

Emma Rioux 44, daughter of A. E. Watkins and Florence Watkins of Normal, Illinois, died of a heart attack at her Chicago home January 23, 1960. Born March 5, 1916 in Carroll County, she attended Normal Community High School and worked for State Farm and Tilden Hall Hotel before moving to Chicago about 15 years ago. Survived by her parents, husband Harold Rioux of 4918 W Henderson St Chicago, and brother Russell Watkins Joliet. Funeral 1 p.m. Saturday in Chicago. burial in Evanston.
