Winter goods sale and drainage district project updates
Garrie Bolhous offers a limited time twenty percent discount on winter goods as spring approaches. The York Drainage District plans redredging the main ditch, adding four smaller ditches along the bluffs from Sheridan Creek to north of the pumping station, and several drain tiles. Estimated cost around fifty thousand dollars to make land tillable for district farmers. Sunday afternoon Glendora Schade joined Margaret Stagg and the Judge at William Eslinger’s home. Bruce student parkhill school duties caused snow shoveling on the return trip. Glendora noted a future buggy ride should be easier.
