Benjamin Freeze 78 of Savanna died Feb 19 at home after a lingering illness. A retired Milwaukee conductor, he lived in Savanna 45 years. Funeral Feb 22 at Fuller Funeral Home with burial in Savanna Cemetery. Surviving: wife Mattie Smith, one daughter, two grandchildren, two brothers, and other relatives. George Henning 79 of Shannon died Feb 17 at his farm home after a long illness. Funeral Feb 20 at Forreston Grove church with burial in the church cemetery. He was born near Forrest on March 9, 1863 and married Elizabeth Geisman in 1901. Surviving: three children Elmer, William, Henry, three stepchildren, and Christ Geisman.
