Chadwick high school hoopsters drubbed Mt Carroll 24-20 Saturday evening, securing Chadwick's first ever basketball victory over Mt Carroll. Wally Geisz led with 15 points as Chadwick opened 9-1 and led 14-8 at halftime. Mt Carroll's Tom Fritz scored 12, while Milledgeville upset Coach Walker's squad 19-12. Lanark beat Shannon 39-24 with Lanark reserves 22-10 over Shannon, as Steinhagen added 8 and Lower 10 points.
