County Board Defeats Rescind Motion Then Approves Amendment
A county board defeated a motion to rescind a building permit ordinance by a 6 to 5 vote. An amendment conforming the ordinance to Illinois statutes was approved, declaring no permit fee for agricultural property. The session also authorized refunds on agricultural permits and granted various budget and infrastructure requests including bridge aid and culvert funding. Two building permits were issued to Heisler and Oil Co. A weight limits resolution for spring road softness was adopted.
