First Phase of County Planning Now Completed
The Carroll County Planning Commission reports the first phase of a three stage comprehensive plan is finished under Chairman Henry Sorenson. It covered county mapping and research on economics population land use facilities and transportation with two more phases to follow including public meetings and land use planning over about 15 months. The plan aims to protect prime agricultural land while developing recreation and overall county welfare.
