Thomson State Bank Adds Modern Vault to Building

Thomson State Bank plans a new vault built by Paul K Miles of Savanna with a seven inch solid steel door from York Safe and Lock Co. The vault walls will be eighteen inches thick reinforced concrete. A grill will allow public access to safe deposit boxes from the north door while the rest of the vault houses regular business. The project aims to modernize equipment and provide up to date protection against bandits. construction will be guarded and secure.
