Thieves Take Hog From Farm Near Shannon
Clarence Warnesbecker reported to the sheriff that a 250 pound hog was stolen from the Robert Erdmier farm about 20 miles northwest of Shannon Sunday night. Investigators said the hog was killed in the pen, bled, and carried away after being dumped over a fence. A second farm in Stephenson County reportedly lost two hogs the same night.
