Word reached Thomson Sunday that Dee Burton father of Mrs. Earl Sack died suddenly Saturday night of a heart attack. Mr and Mrs Earl Sack and their son, visiting Mrs Amelia Sack, left Sunday for Los Angeles to attend his funeral.

Carroll County Circuit Court heard multiple complaints tied to a Saturday open dance by the Thomson Teen Club. Virgil MacDonald alleged disorderly conduct by Bonnie Spencer and Roger Schleming who faced resisting arrest charges. warrants were issued for Spencer and Schleming.
