The Village Board met in regular session Monday evening December 5 1966 with Mayor Shutters presiding. Four trustees answered roll call Atherton and Plumley were absent. Minutes read and approved. Funeral For Ray T Moyer Held In Sterling
Funeral services for Ray T. Moyer 71 former Fair Haven resident who died in Bradenton Florida were held in Sterling with Rev Lloyd Coleman officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery Mount Carroll. Moyer born December 10 1694 in Carroll County married Lulu Gine in 1927 and farmed west of Chadwick before 1942. He later worked at Savanna Ordnance Depot and Sterling Employment Bureau. Survivors include his wife two daughters and seven grandchildren. he was a member of local veterans groups and Chadwick Lodge 867 A F and A M.
