Illinois College of Agriculture team Leland Gard ui Bone Gap J W Rankin Rockford and HL J Goudie Oswego won the first meat judging contest at the American Royal Ravestith Show in Kansas City. They led seven other teams by 38 points, with Gard second individually and Rankin fifth.
