Bellevue Iowa Nostalgic Local Notes and Anecdotes
A mosaic of Savanna and Bellevue life appears with mentions of Ernst Graves on the Board of Review, a Wall South Dakota chamber publicity, road trip chatter to New Hampshire, a Davenport hail storm, and small town characters. The piece weaves travel, festival plans, a lifetime membership honor, and shoplifting nicknames into a vivid snapshot of 1948 rural life.
