Hamilton Is Charged With Manslaughter

Savanna Man Victim of Heat Prostration at Work

Lightning Sparks Three Farm Fires Near Milledgeville
Three fires started by lightning on Sunday evening near Milledgeville and Goleta caused estimated losses over 5000 dollars. A 50 foot barn on the Ed Meyer farm was razed, with substantial livestock and equipment losses. a second barn and corn crib on the 3 H Weidel farm burned. and a Birdsall farm crib and outbuildings suffered major damage. Lanark Youth Struck and Killed By Car
Cris Stoner ten year old son of Mr and Mrs David Stoner of Lanark died Monday after being struck by a car driven by Mrs Jay Tickensen on Route 72 north of Lanark near Strad fie creek. A coroner s jury ruled the death an unavoidable accident and cleared the driver. He was returning from a fishing trip with three boys when he dashed into the road. He died en route to hospital after first aid at Lanark. Funeral services were held in Lanark with burial in Lanark cemetery.
